Office of Open Practice was paired with the Central Public Library's InfoCommons librarians, as a result of a winning proposal for the Brooklyn Public Library's 2023 BKLYN Incubator. Working with the library, the office hosted public meetings and BPL staff stakeholder meetings at the Central Branch to streamline access to library resources, staff operations and patron wayfinding. Office of Open Practice's work culminated in a detailed written report with design recommendations as well as several iterations of signage development in collaboration with BPL's internal coms and strategy teams.
